For those that want to "just move on" do so, but I'm not going to. You've said your thoughts, now I'm saying mine. I've read several times that CBD oils were the issue with J'Mar, not pot. CBD oils are legal in all 50 states. Regardless of what the substance was though, I seriously doubt this started last Saturday.
Question 1: Why didn't this come up in other "random" drug tests in the first 11.5 weeks of the season instead of the final 18 days of it, on a short week, during finals, right before our toughest two road games of the season? The accusers have been sitting on this waiting for this exact moment to "stick it to Tech". Mission accomplished.
Question 2: Who decided this punishment? It wasn't Skip Holtz in a vacuum. Why not suspend them for UAB (road game) & UTSA (home game) like every school in America except us would do. That would give the backup QB a chance to get accustomed to being QB1. Instead we WILLINGLY chose the worst two games possible.
This absolutely smacks of a setup job. Why our administration just rolled over and let it happen without some sense of due process is extremely disappointing.
