For any fellow nerds out there that like the finances behind the sport...
My guess is that we only had McNeese onboard for the MTE and had to pay Southern Utah $25K to stay over and participate and make it work. Then Texas State was added later because they needed a landing spot, but didn't really get anything for their two games. That is not fact, but my complete guess as to why we paid Southern Utah $25K but are travelling to Seattle for $0 for the CUSA-WAC challenge.
