Tech gets its shot at ODU tonight at 6 p.m. on Stadium.
ODU won the regular season crown. Jeff Jones won Coach of the Year. B.J. Stith won Player of the Year, even though Ahmad Caver is the best player on their team.
Tech lost 64-63 earlier this year in Norfolk to the Monarchs. Tech dominated ODU on the glass in that one.
ODU is really going to get after us on the defensive end, we must match that intensity, especially early. Can’t afford a deep hole again.
Hopefully us having played a game will help us shoot it better. It’s an odd venue which has to throw some things off. We’ll see if it’ll play to our advantage.
