OLB/DE Keelan Cox visited Tech on an unofficial visit today.
Cox is 6’6, 220 pounds and plays at Manvel HS. Manvel HS is the same HS that Tech DE Steven Shaw played at.
Cox doesn’t currently have an offer, but the staff said they would give him a call. So he’s a kid to keep an eye on.
He currently has offers from Grambling, Texas Southern, Angelo State, Texas A&M Kingsville, and Arkansas Pine Bluff.
About his visit to Tech, Cox told BleedTechBlue.com, “It was really good. I really liked it , all of the staff had a good relationship with each other, and that’s what I look forward to when going to college. I want to have a good relationship with all of the coaches and staff, but the part I liked most was the quarter system that the school offers.”
