As I've been reading the updates leading up to NSD, I recalled some DBs who committed to Tech early and then de-committed, only to go out of state.

As far as their playing time, starts, and stats, you be the judge.

Three (3) of the players are as follows:

Class of 2016:

1 - Kiondre Thomas (DB/6'/190/Northside HS/Ft. Smith, AR.): Committed to Minnesota
2016 - redshirted
2017 (FR) - played in 9 out of 12 games; 29 tackles (1 for loss); 4 pass break-ups; 1 fumble recovery
2018 (SO) - played in 9 out of 12 games (started 1); 21 tackles & 1 fumble recovery; missed 3 games due to injury

2 - Julian Chandler (DB/6'/187/Missouri City, TX): Committed to Kansas
2016 (FR) - played in 1st game; missed remainder of season (11 games) due to injury
2017 (SO) - played in 6 out of 12 games on defense/special teams; 12 tackles (1 for loss); 2 forced fumbles; 1 pass break-up
2018 (JR) - played in 4 out of 12 games on special teams; no stats available

Class of 2018:

1 - Tywan Francis (S/5'11"/180/Landry-Walker HS/New Orleans): Committed to Colorado St.
2018 (FR) - played in 11 out of 12 games (started 1 as nickel); 18 tackles; 3 pass break-ups; 1 forced fumble
