St. Paul's coach Steve Mask isn't shy in his praise for rising senior quarterback Swift Lyle.
"He's one of the best quarterbacks in the state by far," Mask said Monday. "I'm glad we have him for another year."
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Lyle, who helped the Saints to a 9-4 record and the Class 5A quarterfinals a year ago, has received a lot of college attention this offseason.
Last week alone, he was offered by Central Arkansas, Akron and Louisiana-Lafayette. Mask also said Louisiana Tech, Troy, South Alabama, Auburn and Alabama have shown "a lot of interest" in Lyle lately.
