I'm looking at our current commitments and I'm not sure if any of these kids will be able to help until 2025. We need to go into the JUCO/Portal ranks and pull some dudes that can help in the 2023 season. Some of these guys only had limited offers to(Grambling, Alcorn, Fordham, Colgate, Lamar, etc). We need some dudes immediately.
The majority of our coaching staff comes from FCS and looking at these commitments with the exception of 3-4 are FCS players. I was here during the "Nasty Dawgs" era. Mean and nasty. Our kids are nice guys and don't play with a chip. We need to go find a few bad boys on both sides of the ball. Remember its about the Jimmy's and Joe's!!! Right now we don't have many Joe's.
