Tech is in Houston to take on Rice. Rice has been somewhat of a surprise this year, but they have some good young talent. Tech has locked up the 2 seed in the CUSA tourney. Winning a regular season title is a pipe dream at this point but there is still hope.
As we've talked about before, Evans and Koulechov are the go to guys for Rice. They have 19 and 18 points per game apiece. Tech held them down very well in Ruston in January en route to an easy victory.
Joniah White played his best game of his career last time out against North Texas. He had 5 points 8 rebounds and 7 blocks in 20 minutes of play. He has continued to progress and is becoming an elite rim protector. Game will be on CUSA.TV tonight, should be a good one with two good young teams.
