Just received a text from a friend who works for the university. Was present during a meet with Mayor of Ruston and he stated that there were going to be 5 new hotels in Ruston(3 of which are already being built), many new restaurants including BWW, Walkons, broken Egg, and a few others he couldn't remember, a new 18 million dollar sports complex and, the most interesting, an Amtrak stop between Dallas and NY. Is this old new? Bad news? He said no real timetable was given except the Amtrak would take longest.
Edit: A lot of the restaurants will be located in downtown area 2-3 block expansion that will be called Bulldog Village
