It doesn't look like Skip Holtz is in any hurry to hire a safeties coach and with good reason. As I said last week, DL was the priority because of all the DL commitments. The safety commitments all have their original recruiter on staff and is now the DC (Blake Baker).
An approximate timetable would be the last week of recruiting before signing day or even after signing day.
