So the SELA team will be staying in Ruston for the entire week after they play their game versus us Saturday. I believe Ross said they're staying at the new Marriot in Ruston for the week. Not sure what facilities they'll be using yet but they're next opponent after us is Central Connecticut State. They fly out of Jackson, MS next Friday to CCSU.
The team will be going on their second week displaced after Hurricane IDA left Hammond in bad shape. I know most of the families have packed up and followed the team as well, including Ross Jenkins and Antonio Bakers. If anyone is in town next week and wants to give our former Bulldogs a hug or extend a coffee/lunch to their wives/kids/dogs, I'm sure they'll welcome some Louisiana Tech love right now. Ross said it's been hard to keep the family comfortable out of a hotel and keeping them comfortable with meals, etc.
