Went to see a 6-A boys basketball game last night - Skyline at Lake Highlands. Skyline was up 33 to 29 at the half; Lake Highlands turned up the defense in second half & won in the closing 20 seconds or so, 59 to 56.
Got home at 10 p.m. & found time to "Shake & Bake," all action between the stove & sink: Baked 50 homemade chocolate chip cookies & 50 oatmeal raisin cookies. Got to bed at 2:45 a.m.
Got out of bed at 7:50 a.m. Began prep time at 8:45 a.m. for a second round of both types of cookies. First batch into the oven at 9:46. After the cookies, a round of sausage & cheese biscuits & add a few shakes (8-10 or so) of Tabasco.
Oh! Trying to finalize cooking before the game.
Any orders for Christmas 2019?

OMG! I still have an ambrosia cake & rum cake to bake. Looks like I will be baking after returning home from church tomorrow.
Go Dawgs!
P.S.: I had a 5'11", 164 lb. DB, named DFW Player of the Week (Week 11), approach me after the game. His comment was, "I want to play for La. Tech." His name is Dreveon (Dre) Eatmond. He was a starter as a soph and junior at Lake Highlands. His family is moving from Dallas, and he will play elsewhere next year. AWESOME!
