Jaqwis is just in shells at this point, but physically he looks pretty good. I still think he has a great chance to be a good one. Obviously has a long way to go but such a blessing that he is back out there. It's so obvious that he's having a blast.
The scrutiny surrounding the defensive backs is certainly warranted. I've mentioned the tenacity that they've been playing with, I have to imagine that they can feel the heat coming in the fall with 6 DBs signed looking to take someone's spot.
Oliver is getting a majority of the reps with the 1's at inside WR over Tarzan. Could end up being an "or" situation.
A lot of interesting position battles defensively at CB & LB. Will be high contested into the fall.
Roberson, Kitchen, Hannibal, & Kitchen all seem to be getting close to equal reps. Hannibal may end up being the best of the bunch when it's all said and done. I like his game. Roberson is the best right now though, and carries a swagger with him. He wants the best WR every rep.
So many young guys defensively that are going to have the opportunity to big time players for years to come.
Price had his best day throwing the ball of the spring today in my opinion. So much zip on the ball and excellent accuracy.
I could name nearly every WR out there, and they all being something to the table that can be used to be productive. Fun to watch.
So much attention to detail being paid to defensively. Execution is being demanded. Guys have to be in the right spots to be successful.
Bonnette runs such smooth routes. He made a really nice one-handed TD catch from 15 yards out.
Safeties look much more comfortable in coverage. Will it translate to games is the question.
Practice was extremely competitive. Coaches preaching that every rep has a winner.
