Congrats to Michael Johnson (Head Football Coach), Myron Hawthorne (Offensive Coordinator), and Delone Williams (Defensive Coordinator), all former Tech football players, for leading Bishop Dunne Catholic School (Dallas; 10-3) to a come-back win, 13 to 9, over arch-rival Bishop Lynch on Friday night in Waco. Dunne trailed late in the fourth quarter, made a heroic march down the field in its last possession, scored with less than 42 seconds left in the game, and withstood a valiant effort by Lynch in the closing seconds to preserve the win.
Coaches Johnson (DB), Hawthorne (DB/LB/TE) and Williams (DB) played at Tech during various times from 2000-2005.
These coaches won title games in 2014 & 2018 at Dunne, and they were runner-up in 2015 & 2016. Very impressive!
