Today (two weeks into the Spring quarter) Tech strongly encourages students living on campus to move back home to take their classes online. However, the school is keeping 62% of their spring housing and meals cost that they spent. Sorry folks, this is simply not the right way to operate.
When do I need to check out in order to be eligible for a refund?
Students will be able to check out of university housing beginning Saturday, March 21, through Sunday, March 29. They will receive a 38 percent refund of housing and meals from this quarter’s cost if they check out and turn in their keys during this period of time. The deadline will be 5 p.m. Sunday, March 29.
