The Dunkin' Dogs get another shot at UAB tonight at 5:30 PM. Should be one heck of a matchup, with definitely some intriguing storylines considering the last matchup. Hakeem Baxter and Jacobi Boykins were both involved in a scuffle in the last meeting which resulted in numerous players getting ejected, and Tech ending the game with four players.
Keys to the game:
1. Sherman, White, and McCre have to be very physical inside. They can't allow Mehinti, Cokley, and Lee to control the boards. Lee is a dynamic shot blocker, as are Cokley and Mehinti.
2. Limit Dirk Williams from getting it going from 3. When he is shooting the ball well, they become a really dangerous offensive team. He knocked down three 3's last night against Charlotte.
3. Get McCree and Boykins into a rhythm early on. Boykins needs some early open looks to get him going. If he gets hot early, he's the type that could knock down 14-15 three's over the course of a three game period. McCree needs to just be McCree, have good shot selection, and don't try to dribble through too much traffic, he has done much better at that late in the year.
Should be one heck of a matchup inside Legacy Arena tonight.
