Regardless of the opponent, on average Tech is massively losing scoring as games progress. There are likely multiple reasons for it, but this is a statistical, undeniable FACT. Below is Tech's and the Opponents' scoring by quarter Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4.
Tech- 42, 41, 38, 19 (massive scoring decline as the games proceed)
Opp- 28, 30, 31, 44 (massive scoring increase as the games proceed)
So it is a FACT that Tech starts out scoring lots of points in Q1 (42 points) and by Q4 we are virtually incompetent (19 points). Our opponents show the opposite trend. In Q1 they have only scored 28 points, but in Q4 (44 points) they've produced more points than Tech has in ANY quarter!
We have to first get honest with ourselves and admit that there is definitely a problem and then commit to finding ways to create scoring production in the 2nd half of games- especially the 4th quarter.
