I've tried to get the opinion of people on and off campus about Skip's reaction to what happened on Friday.
He was vocal after the game, and that's hit Twitter.
The best feedback I've gotten came from someone on campus and deals with the root cause.
And that's this: "Before Eric Wood, Skip's never been told there's a problem with the overall direction of the program. After the bowl wins, the feedback was never negative."
I had never thought about it, but it's true. Both inside the athletic department and elsewhere on campus, as well as within the fanbase we've all talked about all the blown leads over the years, the boring offense, the fact his system had become stale. But did Tommy ever sit down with him to make him aware that all these things were issues?
Apparently not!
