Cruising around the athletic complex this morning I saw two significant improvements that will help with game days this year.
First there is a huge new cell tower going up near the Marbury Center. The tower is up and the broadcast part is being assembled on the ground. Certainly looks like an urban high capacity system. It will surely help with cell reception on game day.
The second improvement is at the intersection of West Alabama & Tarbutton. It's now a 4 way stop with red flashing lights and a lot of signage so you know it's there way in advance. Has to help with that dangerous intersection and with getting traffic to and from the stadium.
