Louisiana Tech (4-1) and UNC-Greensboro (4-1) will face off at 4PM CT today in the Delaware Invitational.

Connor Giblin will have the call on KXKZ 107.5FM. The game will immediately follow the postgame call-in show that Mark Cramer and I do.

Exavian Christon is coming off a career night against Tougaloo when he scored 20 points on 8/14 shooting. He is leading Tech averaging 13 points per game.

Two more sophomores are also averaging double figures in Anthony Duruji (12.4 PPG) and Amorie Archibald (10.4 PPG).

Tech is out-rebounding its opponents by 13.4 rebounds per game. Oliver Powell is leading the team averaging nearly 7 boards a night.

Greensboro went 27-8 a season ago and won the Southern Conference with a 15-3 record. They lost in the first round of the NCAA tournament to Gonzaga, 68-64.

They were picked to win the Southern Conference once again this season.

Francis Alonso leads the team averaging 21 points per game in 28 minutes per game. He’s a 6’3, senior guard.

Kyrin Galloway is averaing 16 points and 5 rebounds per game while shooting 50% from three. He’s a 6’8, junior forward.

Isaiah Miller rounds out the guys that score in double figures averaging 14 points per game off the bench. He’s a 6’0, sophomore guard.

James Dickey is their loan big guy that sees any significant time. He’s 6’10 and is averaging 8 points and 8 rebounds a game in 26 minutes.

The only like opponent that Tech and Greenboro have is LSU. Greensboro fell to the Tigers 97-91 in Baton Rouge.

Greensboro is coming off a 74-66 win against Prairie View.

This will be the second match-up between the two teams. Tech won back in 2013, 99-62.
