I joined BBB a couple of yrs ago under a different name (LSUPitt). They HATE LSU, but a lot of good guys there once they figured out I wasn't there to flame (not my style). Hope some of those guys migrate over here. Anyway, welcome to Rivals. Didn't LaTech have a Rivals site at one point?

Yeah, I thought you may have posted on BBB. That board cracks me up b/c I never saw such venom at LSU during my days at Tech. I guess those are the true die hards. lol
I don't recall ever seeing a Tech board on the rivals network or when it was alliance sports. Maybe I missed it.

Nah, we dont' hate LSU.
We do hate it when Tech grads have LSU season tickets, but don't give back to Tech. We also hate it when LSU fans (usually Tech grads) come to the board to belittle Tech and talk down to us.
But hey, who's got time to think about LSU? There's too much Tech going on to be worried about...what did Karl say?..."That JUCO down south."

JUCO...LOL. The day I start worrying about what Malone says is the day I need to check out. I grew up in Homer, and Karl was in town one afternoon (Summerfield is just 15 miles up the road) when I was 16yrs old. The dude ran out in the road in front of me, and I had to slam on my brakes not to hit him, LOL. All I could think of was all the hate mail and death threats I would've gotten from Utah fans had I hit him.
I'll never have the intention of belittling Tech. I'm quite interested to see how Dooley does. Frankly, I think it would behoove LSU fans to hope for Tech to do well under Dooley...nothing like your former coaches going on and succeeding as HCs.
