With Derric Jean already in the boat, it appears Tech was looking to add depth at PG with Jeremiah Martin and also competition. That said, it would not be surprising if Tech looks to add another PG.
If they can't find a PG, I could see them adding someone at any position with exception of SG possibly.
In order to add girth, which seems to be what most want to see, they need to find someone athletic enough to run the floor. Johnathan Williams III has received his release from Mizzou and is another Memphis native. He's been blocked from transferring to the SEC, Big 12 and Arizona according to his mom. It's a long shot for him land at Tech but I've been told they are trying. At 6-9, 225 he'd fit the role well.
