OL
O'Shea Dugas - undecided - I do not expect him to start against Southern at RG (I expect Josh Robinson to) but if there's more than one injury I could see him playing. For now, I'll say redshirt.
DeVante Lovett - redshirt - Not quite heavy enough and needs more time in the offense.
Ethan Reed - redshirt - While Reed had a very god camp and picked up the offense quickly, I think he'll redshirt.
Deontae McCrady (greyshirt) - play - He had a very good fall and will challenge Mahaffey all year at LG.
QB
Smith - redshirt - At the end of fall camp, he was the only QB left without a nagging injury keeping him out. Those reps were invaluable for his development.
RB
Dancy - play - Early in camp I thought Tech would redshirt Dancy but as camp went on Dancy got more and more comfortable in the offense and showed off his speed -- he's easily the fastest running back. He's dangerous in the return game and in space.
WR
Javonte Woodard - redshirt - Woodard had a good camp but unless there's an injury they don't need him. Of the two freshman, Woodard has the bigger chance to play this year.
Rhashid Bonnette - redshirt - In a word, Bonnette is fast. He needs to gain some weight much like Carlos Henderson needed to his first year at Tech.
DL
Courtney Wallace - play - Tech does not have great depth at nose tackle and Wallace is the epitome of a nose tackle. He has some weight to lose but he's really strong in his lower body and hard to move.
Jordan Bradford - play - His work ethic has already garnered the respect of the upperclassmen and that goes a long way. He's a 3-technique DT which could allow him to redshirt because of the depth there.
La'Dante Davenport - redshirt - Without the luxury of the summer session with Hester, Davenport started out a little behind. He finished camp well but is behind two freshman DTs who have played well.
Immanuel Turner - play - Turner came in at a good weight, 250 pounds, and has shown flashes off the edge.
Brandon Brinson - redshirt - Brinson is still learning the position and has some weight to gain.
LB
Brandon Durman - redshirt - With the greatest chance to play as a freshman, I still think Durman redshirts. There's good depth at middle linebacker. Will he play on special teams? It's possible.
Donald Freeman - redshirt - After missing most of his senior season in high school, Freeman still needs some time to have the game slow down for him.
Collin Scott - redshirt - He's going to be a player. Much like Durman, he could play on special teams.
Dante Williams - redshirt - Williams starting playing well at the end of camp. He'll help in the future.
CB
Ephraim Kitchen - play - Kitchen was with the twos from the first day of camp on.
Aaron Roberson - play - Roberson made plays and could be the fourth corner by season's end.
Trey Spencer - play - The depth at corner may require him to play.
S
James Jackson - play - When Lloyd Grogan moved down to linebacker, this opened Jackson up a place in the second team.
Theron Williams - redshirt - An knee injury sidelined Williams early in camp and was coming on when he got hurt. He's probably too far behind now to not be redshirted.
