After speaking with OLB/DE J'Dan Burnett yesterday, I added him to our 2021 Recruiting Big Board.
Burnett holds offers from Louisiana Tech, Boston College, Kansas, UTSA, Navy, Army, Hawaii, Penn, Georgetown, Abilene Christian, and a few others.
I've talked to a ton of kids in recent months, Burnett has impressed me the most. He seems to be a great kid.
On what he likes about Louisiana Tech thus far, "The coaching staff is so genuine, we speak pretty often, and they are showing me a ton of love."
DL Coach Anthony Camp is leading the recruiting charge for Burnett. In fact, Burnett had a Zoom meeting with Skip Holtz, Anthony Camp, Dennis Smith, Brian Gamble, and Jeff Burris yesterday afternoon. Think he's a priority?
As far as commitment plans, Burnett doesn't have one right now. He wants to take his time and make the right decision.
