Louisiana Tech (5-4) will be looking for its 7th straight bowl win this afternoon against Georgia Southern (7-5).
Kickoff is set for 2 PM on ESPN.
Aaron Allen will get the start at quarterback for the Bulldogs. It will be Allen's 4th career start. Word is Allen had a fantastic week of practice leading up to the game, really was not putting the ball in danger at all.
Can LT Dakota White keep DE Raymond Johnson III out of the backfield? That will be the biggest key to Tech's success offensively. Johnson is a MAN.
Will Shai Werts (shoulder) play QB for GA Southern? Word out of Statesboro all week is that he isn't expected to. We'll see though.
If Werts is out, that would make the Eagles top 2 QBs out + 3 of the top 4 rushers.
When Werts is in there, GA Southern is a completely different football team. Miller Mosley, GR TR from Wofford, is expected to play if Werts can't go.
