This is FBS only that have started games, from what I can find. Let me know if I am missing anyone.

AJ Swann (Vanderbilt) - 5 starts, 94/163 (58%), 1,068 yards, 8 total TDs, 1 INT

EJ Warner (Temple) - 5 starts, 109/201 (54%), 1,236 yards, 7 total TDs, 7 INTs

Treyson Bourguet (Western Michigan) - 1 start, 16/33 (48%), 123 yards

Gavin Frakes (New Mexico State) - 1 start, 38/79 (48%), 517 yards, 5 total TDs, 6 INTs

Owen McCown (Colorado) - 3 starts, 57/100 (57%), 600 yards, 4 total TDs, 2 INTs

Zach Wilcke (Southern Miss) - 7 starts, 98/167 (59%), 1,116 yards, 9 total TDs, 9 INTs

Landry Lyddy (LA Tech) - 1 start, 33/48 (69%), 348 yards, 3 total TDs

A number of other true freshmen have appeared in games, but these are the only seven that I can find that have started games.

In my opinion, we have to let Lyddy get as many game reps as possible down the stretch. Across 4 games, he could get another 300 snaps this season.

If he performs well, I think that's a dang good selling point for Tre Harris, Smoke Harris, and Cyrus Allen to return. The portal is dangerous for teams that don't win.

Another thing, if Lyddy plays well you have to think that entering 2023 with Lyddy, Crosby, Thornton, Tre Harris, Smoke Harris, Cyrus Allen, Julien Lewis, Nate Jones, Dakota White, Bert Hale, Jerren Gilbert, and Carson Bruno is a pretty good starting point on offense.

Thoughts?
