The defending CUSA Softball Champion Lady Techsters are picked to finish 3rd in the 20-21 preseason poll. Tech picked up 1 first place vote. The Techsters won the CUSA title and went to the NCAA tournament last season without a home field much of the year due to the tornado. Head Coach Mark Montgomery accepted the same position at Maryland in the offseason.
