This isn't sports related, though maybe tangentially, if and when anything comes to pass. Apparently Stephen F Austin is taking a look at the benefits of joining one of the university systems in TX. There's also a thread on r/CFB about this if you really want to get in the weeds. I just found this kind of interesting since it's fairly regional to us. Not sure if SFA is looking for a 'bailout' of sorts since they've been losing enrollment at a pretty high rate, but it kind of sounds like it.
