My niece was the maid-of-honor at a private wedding party dinner last night (June 26th) prior to the wedding to be held today (June 27th). The parents of the bride and groom and all of the attendants were there.
Suddenly, and without any provocation or warning, 50+/- black men entered the party and began to sceam in the faces of the participants, demanding to know how they dared to have a good time when black men were dying in the streets!
A policeman in attendance, I don't know if he was in uniform or off duty, called-in the confrontation and was told to do nothing. The police back-up did not show for an hour and a half. When they finally arrived the father of the bride expressed a desire to press charges but the police said that they would be unable to identify the intruders and left, taking no action. The incident was not carried by any news organization. It may be noteworthy that Dallas has a black mayor and a black woman as chief of police.
