We can all agree that +/- isn’t the most significant statistic, but here are the #’s from today’s win:
Christon +16
Willis +13
Lofton Jr +12
Archibald +7
Williams +5
Stewart -2
Bradford -5
Hunter -6
Green -10
Murray, who is like Christon for UNT, was a team worst -12 in 16 minutes for the Mean Green.
Bell was -4 for UNT. I thought he was very aggressive, but I think it was one of his worst games he’s ever played against Tech. You could almost tell that he knew he had taken over the last two games at times, and he was pressing trying to do it again. He was playing iso ball from the tip it felt like. Went 3/8 from the field, team-high 4 turnovers.
I also thought that Willis was LIGHTS OUT on the defensive end against McBride. He gave him no space at all.
Who knows how much the Tech staff values this, but I wanted to share. (I’m not sharing to highlight Christon, just found this in the box score and it’s not normally in there I don’t think.)
