What would you do, assuming that Wixson is out for the year? My take below -
These guys are safe:
LT - Brown: Has done very well. I don't believe he's given up a sack, though he came close on a couple today.
RG - Robinson: Great in the run game.
This is where it gets hard:
LG - I'll go with Dugas: He's had moments of dominance. But he's also good for at least two freshman penalties a game.
C - Brunson: Played pretty well in his first game back.
RT - Carpenter: Just seems to be outplaying Jens from where I sit.
Odd men out:
Danielsen - Has a really tough time with the speed rush, though he's better in the run game than Carpenter right now.
Mahaffey - Good, dependable utility guy but nothing dominant. The kind of guy you want as your 4th interior lineman.
It's a real shame that Kirby is hurt. He, Brown and Robinson are very good. If he gets a Med RS, Tech will have Holtz's best OL next season.
