- Sounds like Jeff Burris is likely going to be the S Coach. Should be announced in next week or so.

- Matt Kubik & Paul Turner are the names I keep hearing for the open offensive spot.

That’s what I got right now.

Louisiana Tech will travel to Saint Louis for a non-conference matchup on Saturday night.

Tipoff is set for 7 PM on ESPN+/KXKZ 107.5 FM.

Tech is favored by 2.5 points.

With Sean Newman returning to the lineup on Tuesday against Southeastern, Tech is expected to be at full strength. The Bulldogs are 6-0 at the full strength this season.

The Billikens are 6-5 overall this season. They were off to a 4-0 start before leading scorer Sincere Parker broke his foot. He was averaging 17.3 points per game.

Gibson Jimerson has taken over a key scoring role. He’s averaging 16.3 points per game, shooting 39% from 3.

Travis Ford’s team shoots 38% from 3 as a team. Tech will have to defend the 3-point line well in order to win.

The Billikens don’t have a ton of size inside. Bruce Zhang is a 7’0 freshman from China that’s seen his role increase recently, but Batcho should have a good night.

Lots of good stuff in here, but I wanted to add a few things:

- Tech essentially only played 6 guys at Saint Louis. Talvin is a lot tighter with his rotation this year, and I love it.
- Jaylin Henderson is averaging 1.6 ppg over his last 6 games. He's really struggling.

I know no one has asked for this, but just so you have an idea of the data that exists out there that an analytically minded staff has available to them, I wanted to share just a bit.

LA Tech & Southeastern are set for a 6 PM tipoff on Tuesday night.

The game will be on ESPN+/KXKZ 107.5 FM.

Tech comes in at 8-2, and Southeastern is 2-7.

The Bulldogs are favored by 13.5 points.

My guess is that we only had McNeese onboard for the MTE and had to pay Southern Utah $25K to stay over and participate and make it work. Then Texas State was added later because they needed a landing spot, but didn't really get anything for their two games. That is not fact, but my complete guess as to why we paid Southern Utah $25K but are travelling to Seattle for $0 for the CUSA-WAC challenge.
