I am working on a project to solve a Tech-related problem that requires donations to fix. I have taken it on because I have a personal interest in seeing that this particular problem is solved, which I am happy to disclose in private. It is not something that I wish to post on the open board. It is time sensitive, requiring a solution by Friday. This cause is Tech football related and will directly benefit Tech students.

- Williams and Hall are an interesting combo inside, in my opinion. Very athletic. I'm still interested to see how they hold up in run game, just need to see more.

- Woods will be in mix at CB when he gets back healthy. Some sort of hamstring/calf type issue. Doesn't seem serious, but he's missed about a week so far.

- I love Shelby. So competitive. He'll get beat, but it doesn't phase him. Good trait to have as a CB.

Got a nice card in the mail today from LTAC with a sticker and luggage tag. I thought it was a nice gesture and step up from what we’ve seen in the past.

I think they are trying hard to reengage the fan base.

Amy Sargeant has been hired as the new LA Tech women's tennis head coach. Sargeant spent the last decade as an assistant coach at Florida State, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Clemson where she served as interim head coach in 2023, guiding the Tigers to one of their most successful seasons in recent years. Sargeant played professionally in the ITF and has international experience as a native of Walsall, England.

It's separation Saturday. Time to set the 2 deep and the scout team. Starting Monday the team should be preparing for FIU so 1st & 2nd Offense and 1st & 2nd defense will starting getting the majority of the reps.

Slot---Smoke, then we will have Mccallister, Lautus, and don't forget Solo Lewis. Who will win #2 #3?
OL----We know who the starters are, Who will be the 6th or 7th guy?
TE---We have 3, Can someone make a move here?

DL--- Lots of bodies; looking for a pair and a spare? Who is the 5th guy that will travel? Who is going to scout?
LB's-- tough decisions have to be made. Who are the starters? Will #21 Zimos make a move? #9 Davis??
CB---Will #11 stay healthy? Woods, Roberts, Shelby, Paul. Who will be the 5th guy? Bryd or Webb??
Nickel---DGT, Zimos(against heavy personnel), Ricard, Who will emerge?

Keep an eye on Purdue transfer 1B/OF/DH Cam Thompson.

He’s from Oklahoma, started career at Oklahoma State. Hit 13 HR and drove in 56 in 2022.

Started slow in 2023, fell out of favor with Goff.

He’s the type target we will be looking at offensively. Not going to take a big scholarship to get, and he’s got great offensive upside.

Fouts recruited him to Purdue.

Hey everyone, with football season just around the corner it's almost time to kick off our Louisiana Tech Quarterback Club Meetings at Catfish Charlie's in Monroe. Meetings will start at 6:30 PM and will be held on the following Thursdays before every home football game, August 24th, September 7th, September 14th, and November 9th. Each week a member of the coaching staff will attend and provide a recap of the previous week's game as well as a breakdown of that week's opponent. This is a great opportunity to come out and meet the coaching staff. They always do an excellent job of answering questions and providing an insight into the game.
