As an alum of both Tech and Arkansas I’m on both boards. This kid is begging for a scholarship from Arkansas but can’t get a major offer. His tape looks very impressive to me. I think his size and maybe his reported 40 time are hurting him. While I’m no talent scout, he reminds me of a bigger Trent Taylor type. If he’s not in Razorback Red (which appears to be where he really wants to go but isn’t willing to walk on) I’d love to see him in Tech blue.
The fact that all the service academies have offered tells me he’s a quality student as well as a quality person which can be telling too. I’d love to see our coaches get on him late and bring him to Ruston.
