Gabe Montenegro -- he's only hitting .253 with 1 2B in 24 games. Does it really matter? He kills Tech.
Dustin Dickerson -- having the best year of his career at .383. Not much power, but he's been in the 3-hole in recent weeks. No, he hasn't pitched this season.
Slade Wilks -- Young left-handed hitter. Very talented. Maybe the best draft prospect on the team. Hit a HUGE 3-run HR against Tech in conference tourney last year. Off to a .341 start with 5 HR and 23 RBI
Christopher Sargent -- .279, 8 HR, 25 RBI. Not a real likable guy. Never walks. Huge power. Will K a bunch at times.
Will McGillis -- .268, 5 HR, 23 RBI, just a good baseball player. The gritty grinder type, leads team with 10 HBP.
Danny Lynch -- .258, 2 HR, 10 RBI. Hasn't really gotten it going yet, but he can really swing it.
Charlie Fischer -- hit .304 with 7 HR and 37 RBI a season ago. MASSIVE drop-off in 2022. He's only gotten 17 at bats, and he's hitting .059. Maybe he was hurt, but this is a major blow to their lineup. All-conference guy in the preseason.
They've been without starting catcher Blake Johnson since the 4th game of the season. Rodrigo Montenegro, Gabe's bro, will be behind the plate. Yes, two Montenegro's. Tech's nightmare.
They've been good, not great at the plate. Return nearly every starter from a season ago, except for Reid Trimble. Trimble was a 2nd round pick in MLB Draft. It's a dangerous lineup, but I think they can be pitched to if Tech executes.

Tanner Hall -- Friday night guy, sinker/slider guy. 48 K, 4 BB.
Hunter Riggins -- D2 transfer from Delta State, he's been really good. He'll sit 89-91. Pitch to contact type guy on Saturday.
Huston Waldrop -- 93-98 from the right side. Does it with excellent command. Oh yeah, they toss him the ball on Sundays. 46K, 8 BB.
Tyler Stuart -- 6'9 RHP out of the bullpen, will be up to 98
Dalton Rogers -- Left-handed reliever, 91-94, wipeout slider. Big time strikeout numbers.
They got tons of guys on their pitching staff. Deepest staff we'll see all year.
