After winning only 15 games last year, the Dawgs are 21-21 with 10 games remaining. They need to win 6 of the last 10 to have a winning season. To do that they must beat Northwestern and must win 5 of the last 9 remaining conference games from among UTSA at home, Old Dominion on the road, and Marshall at home. The Dawgs are on an 11 game non-conference winning streak (the longest non-conference winning streak since 2006!), but have only won 5 conference games all season.
We have a chance to sweep Marshall (who I don't like). Both UTSA (who I hate) and OD (who we owe plenty of payback) have good teams, but from one of whom we probably need to win 2 out of 3.
Those that can, get out and support the Dawgs and help them finish strong in this great turnaround season. Tickets will be hard to get in just a couple of years!
