BleedTechBlue.com has learned that QB Landry Lyddy intends to enter the transfer portal.
I’ve stated numerous times that Landry Lyddy loves Louisiana Tech, and I still firmly believe that to be the case. Playing an hour down the road was truly his dream.
At the same time, I think it boiled down to there was just something missing in the connection between Lyddy and the offensive staff.
I think there were times where we could all see that on the field in 2022.
Where will Lyddy end up? I’d be beyond shocked if he didn’t end up somewhere very quickly. I doubt he’d make this decision without having a plan.
Tech’s QB room is now Matthew Downing (hurt, out for spring), Jack Turner (walk-on), and Evan Bullock (will enroll in June).
