With the home opener over, it's time to address a couple of opportunities for improvement. Unfortunately, I contemplated about posting this thread, after returning home after the game. I fell asleep around 9:30 p.m., awakened at 12:45 a.m., and got to bed at 1:00 a.m. Here it is at 4:15 a.m., and I am up.

Prior to the first inning, I went to the concession area, the one along the first base line. I ordered a burger, went to the salad/condiments bar. As I was prepping the burger, I thought to myself, "something is missing - cannot believe this." I inspected this area for tongs versus grabbing a tomato, lettuce, and finely chopped onions. If I were to grab these veggies in this order, this would have been a red flag for potential contamination of food, and a "no no" from the local health department. I proceeded to the concession area, and I saw a female and male assisting at a line for beer. I approached the female about the lack of tongs and wanted to know about the mechanism for placing veggies on the burger. She went to inspect the salad/condiments bar, and she went to the concession area. Upon her return, she had no tongs. She returned with rubber gloves on and added veggies to the burger. When I inquired about the lack of tongs, I asked, "how are other fans going to prepare their burger(s)? I got no response. After the first inning, no tong(s) was/were present.
Question: Is Aramark responsible for providing a tong or two? I hope a tong or two is/are present today.

Between the two concession areas and along the first base line, there appears to be a black-colored stage platform that takes up a lot of space. It takes up space and restricts traffic flow. What's the rationale for having this at its location? It wasn't here last year, the previous year, and so forth. How about relocating it to the area between the concession areas and near the guardrail, close to the area for which there is a table or two designated for staff overseeing programs and memorabilia for sale or for free (not sure)?
