QB - B+
The depth here has suddenly become somewhat of a strength -- especially compared to years past. Jeff Driskel showed off his legs at times during spring practice and Ryan Higgins took a giant leap forward. Price Wilson showed he has "arm talent" unmatched by Higgins or Driskel and is likely the future but with the emergence of Higgins will it be 2016 or 2017 when he gets his shot.

RB - A+
Easily the strength of the offense. Kenneth Dixon didn't see many carried this spring but why would he? Jarred Craft took a big step forward and solidified himself as the no. 2. Blake Martin is likely the no. 3 with Tywun Walters and Boston Scott behind.

WR - A
The biggest surprise on the offensive side of the ball as this group had little expected from it and exploded on to the scene even missing a starter in Paul Turner. Carlos Henderson showed he's more than just a speed demon but can also run routes. Trent Taylor might be the best route runner in America and I mean it. Conner Smith has worked his tail off and while it showed last fall it showed even more this spring and will likely start at inside receiver game one against Southern. Kam McKnight showed flashes of what we all know he can be. Andy McAlindon could be another big target in the red zone. Marlon Watts and Marcus Gaines continued where they left off as true freshmen and got even better. Grant Childress had his best spring as a Bulldog. Sanford Seay finished as strong as anyone on the roster and if he can stay consistent can present major matchup problems. Converted DB Thaddeaus Medford, III is someone to watch as he showed flashes this spring.

OL - B
Probably the weak link of the offense but they still got better and should be better than they were a year ago. There is plenty of players with experience coming back. A couple of likely starters are Jens Danielson at LT and Kirby Wixson at C. Joseph Brunson will probably be RG while David Mahaffey will be LG but the RT spot seems to be up for grabs. Will it be Darrell Brown, Josh Robinson or someone else?

CB - B+
If it wasn't for Tech's shoe-in starters of Adairius Barnes and Bryson Abraham this group wouldn't be anywhere close to a B but those two are pretty good. Who will come in behind them remains to be seen. Roland Dunn, Jr. is likely one but the fourth is totally up for grabs I think.

S - A+
Best position group on defense. Xavier Woods and Kentrell Brice are studs and Secdrick Cooper is pretty darn good himself. A true freshman may be counted on to be the fourth guy but that should be okay.

LB - unknown
With likely starters Nick Thomason and C.J. Cleveland out for the spring coming off surgeries and Lloyd Grogan out to get right in the classroom, it's hard to give this group a grade. Beau Fitte and Russell Farris were the strengths this spring along with Michael Mims. Quanta Moore had a good spring game and Brandon Durman got invaluable reps as an early enrollee even though he broke his hand. Frazier Hogan was the surprise of the spring here.

DL - B+
Much like the corners, without starts Vontarrius Dora and Vernon Butler this grade wouldn't be this high. Jay Ferguson showed his pass rushing ability in the spring game but still needs the game to slow down. Deldrick Canty had a strong spring as well. Tech likely looks for a transfer DT in the offseason as there are depth concerns there. Aaron Brown had a good spring as well beside Butler. The depth here is just a question.
