I see scrolling across my television that the US Senate has approved $1.1 BILLION (I think $1.1B MORE than the House bill) to study the ZIKA virus! The only reason to spend that monstrous amount of money is because every Senator intends to divert a portion of the honey pot to various state university research programs, or "community organizers" for "education" efforts to explain how to combat the virus.

This is a blatant example of using a passing and limited health concern as a flimsy excuse to buy votes by funneling (borrowed!) dollars to unnecessary research and to sham organizations.

And this occurred in a Republican Senate. Every Senator that voted "yes" should be voted out; not one will be.
