If I'm Lane Burroughs, the very first call that I make is to Rob Childress.

He has to flat out tell me no, maybe 10 times, before I move to the next candidate.

Childress recently spent 16 years as the HC at Texas A&M. Would likely be a one-year stop gap type, but he'd be a HOME-RUN.
