On 08/11, the Peacock Channel will be televising the tournament from 2-3 p.m. (CST), followed from 3-5 p.m. (CST) on the Golf Channel.
Format of the tournament:
1 - There are 312 golfers in the tournament.
2 - The first two days consist of stroke play with the field reduced to 64 after 36 holes. (++)
3 - From there, the top 64 golfers compete in a single elimination match play tournament. A 36-hole match play format will decide the championship on Sunday.
++ After the first round of stroke play, sixty-two golfers are in the range of -7 (seven under) to E (even par). Twenty-two golfers are tied at +1 (one over).
## - Sam Murphy will be playing the course at the Longue Vue Club on Tuesday.
Another good day from Sam on the second round of stroke play, he should qualify for the match play format.
