The 2024 baseball roster has been updated online + I wanted to share a few notes. We've shared some of these, but I want to get them all in one spot for you guys:

- Alec Sparks is no longer w/ the program, shoulder injury ended it for him.
- Will Mabry & Brodey Walker are no longer w/ the program. They were two freshmen that went through the fall. Walker is in the portal, and I think Mabry is headed to a JC.
- Baylor Cobb left during the fall.
- Hayden Toal & CJ Sturiale suffered elbow injuries during the summer, but they’ll be back at some point is my assumption.
- Official practice starts on January 26th.
- Roster is at 44, need 4 more cut/redshirted off the field before opening day.

Starts up at 11 AM. I’ll have it covered.

Thoughts:

What stands out to me is that there are only four "cuttable" (without penalty) upperclassmen on the entire defense. Its almost entirely transfers and Cumbie HS recruits.

Offense is lacking talent and is ripe with cuttable names, in my opinion. I highly doubt that Cumbie will give up on his own HS recruits after 1-2 years, however.
