Several interesting tidbits in the Dallas Morning News today:
1 - Mason Fine (QB/UNT) - To throw out the first pitch at the Texas Rangers' game tonight on Fox SW. What? What did he do to earn this?
2 - UNT adds four basketball transfers:
- Deng Get (forward) from N. Dakota State
- Javion Hamlet (point guard) from NW Florida State
- James Reese (shooting guard) from Odessa College
- Thomas Bell, III (forward) from Kaskaskia College
Looks like they are going the juco route for quick results....they hope!
3 - "Astros' Correa olhurt in massage, out 4-6 weeks" - Shorstop Carlos Correa issued a statement through the team on Wednesday that said "I sustained the rib fracture during a massage at his home on Tuesday. To sustain an injury in such an unusual way makes it even more frustrated. Correa last played on Sunday. Hinch (Manager) said Correa reported soreness around his ribs on Tuesday morning and was kept out of the lineup.
Sounds fishy to me! Wonder about the credentials of the massage specialist and what occurred on Monday?
