There’s been much talk about our base running and base coaching woes, so I decided to look into the facts (stats). For comparison’s sake, I’ll use the two years Goff was here (2015 and 16).

TOOTBLANs so far this year are 8. This is the number that seems very high for only 11 games. I could not determine this number for past years based on stats available on our website. The rest of the baserunning outs seem consistent with previous years’ numbers, and we are the victim of recency bias.
